I have been teaching at WSU since 2013. I began exclusively teaching English 1010 and have since had the opportunity to move around the curriculum to English 3010, English 3020, and, most recently English 1020. The bulk of my curricular work since 2017 has been in the area of English 3020, Writing and Community. I have worked with local community-based organizations to help establish relationships between English 3020 and these organizations. I am particularly interested in the types of communication that help under-resourced and under-privileged groups have a voice in the important social and political discourses of our time.
