Akrish Adhikari

Akrish Adhikari works on Francophone literature from Africa and the Caribbean, film and media studies, critical theory and digital humanities. He is currently in the final stages of his dissertation, "Teledrumming (1922-1971)," which argues that African drumming and women's labor were the primary media of revolutionary anticolonialism in the Francophone world. Akrish's research has appeared in "Differences: A Journal of Feminist Cultural Studies, Contemporary French and Francophone Studies" and "The Comparatist."
