Sean Michael Novak
Sean, a native of northwest Detroit, has lived in various places over the years but now proudly calls Madison Heights home. He is a devoted father and deeply rooted in his Christian faith, which serves as the cornerstone of his identity. A passionate soccer enthusiast, Sean particularly enjoys supporting Detroit City FC. He has a love for music and has been a songwriter and rapper since his teenage years. In his free time, he finds peace in nature through walks and other calming activities.
Sean has been dedicated to higher education since 2006, beginning his career as an MCC AmeriCorps* VISTA member in the Volunteer Center at Central Michigan University, his alma mater. With nearly a decade of experience in multicultural affairs and roles across various sectors of the college environment, Sean brings a unique perspective and skill set to helping students navigate and succeed in the university setting. Lastly, Sean likes writing bios about himself because it allows him to talk in third person.
