Sean O'Brien
Sean O'Brien is a Ph.D. student in the Department of History at Wayne State University. His dissertation is focused on creative labor in the comics industry. He has taught pre-modern and modern sections of East Asian history, HIS 2050: Modern America since 1877, HIS 1050 US since 1945: History of the Headlines, and a new course: ELR 3220 Labor in Media and Popular Culture.
Starting in January of 2024, Sean began working as the Academic Services Officer II for Labor@Wayne and the Department of History.
