Research

My research interests focus on various aspects of substance use and substance use disorders. Specifically, I explore how we can make treatment for substances use disorders more accessible for individuals from an array of backgrounds and with different needs and goals. I have researched the feasibility and efficacy of a brief mindfulness-based intervention delivered via the internet aimed at individuals trying to reduce or cease smoking nicotine/tobacco and hope to develop a series of these interventions available to everyone.
