Peter Marra

Peter Marra is the author of Queer Slashers (Indiana UP, 2025), which argues the queer lineage and function of the slasher film and explores variations on the subgenre by queer filmmakers. Additional work appears in REDENFilm Criticism, Bright Lights Film Journal, and the edited collections Recovering 1940s Horror Cinema (Lexington Books, 2015), ReFocus: The Films of William Castle (Edinburgh UP, 2018), and Final Girls, Feminism, and Popular Culture (Palgrave-Macmillan, 2020).
