Stacie Moser

Stacie Moser is an academic advisor IV in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Wayne State University. She has been employed with the university since 2012 and was awarded employment security status (ESS) in 2018. In addition to her advising duties, Stacie has played a critical role in the Department of Sociology by taking the lead on a variety of special projects including establishing eligibility for the induction of the National Honor Society, Alpha Kappa Delta, assessing the risk factors for poor performance in sociology core courses, and creating curriculum that heightens student awareness of social science careers. She has also worked on streamlining contact with undergraduate sociology alumni and has also collaborated extensively on the development of the department’s internship course.

Prior to joining Wayne State, Stacie was an Academic Advisor for the Department of English in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of South Florida. She is a current member of the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) and has participated in a variety of workshops and conferences pertaining to student success and higher education.
