Amy Ann Latawiec

Department

 English

 Amy is an Associate Professor of Teaching in the English department and the Director of the University Writing Center at Wayne State where she specializes in teaching and researching developmental writing. Amy’s research areas include dispositions and cognition, Basic Writing theory and pedagogy, and writing program assessment. Amy has developed basic writing curriculum for Wayne State and is actively engaged in innovative curricular revisions in an effort to enhance writing instruction and assessment. She is currently serving her first year as Director of the Writing Center.
