Research interest(s)/area of expertise

  • While not faculty, I do work with native plants here on campus in habitat and green infrastructure projects. I am often a guest speaker on this subject throughout the metro Detroit area. I am currently pursuing my doctorate in education, with planned research on graduate teaching assistant perspectives on the nature of science, their knowledge of science teaching pedagogy, and how the two play out in their teaching activities. My long term goal is to work with faculty and graduate students in teaching professional development.
